A suburb of Leeds, Gipton is comprised mainly of semi-detached houses, with some terraced houses and some high-rise flats: these are common around this area of Leeds , as they are in Seacroft. Gipton is characterised by the church which is a grade I listed building together with the local amenities including pubs, shops and restaurants. Also home to the Harehills rugby team, Gipton is of residence to many different associations including the Gipton Working Men's Club.
